14. Do I have to continue medical treatment after my crash?

It is important to seek medical care as soon as possible after being injured in an auto collision and to ask questions about your treatment plan. If you delay seeking treatment, you may end up with a more serious injury that could have been prevented if you had received medical care right after the crash and continued. Gaps in medical treatment can have a negative impact on your injury claim. It is important to remember that your health and safety should be your top priority after being injured in a motor vehicle collision.

15. Can I change a medical provider during the course of my treatments?

Yes, you have the right to switch any medical provider if you are not satisfied with the care provided. However, be sure to inform your personal injury lawyer of the change or your insurance company if necessary.
