Crash Support Network

This year, we are excited to celebrate our 3rd year anniversary by launching our very own “new and improved” website, The Crash Support Network. I can’t believe that this month, it will be three years since I first created an Online Support Group for survivors of a motor vehicle crash. As I reflect back to that day, I vaguely recall setting up the online support group but what I do remember is anxiously waiting for someone to join. I took it upon myself to not only build the support I was seeking but to spread it out to others who were in similar situations. When the group first went live, within 5 minutes I received a request from a young man by the name of Jimmy who had just been involved in a serious truck crash and he was worried about the effect the crash had on his family.

I Had Found a Safe Space

For the first time since my crash, I did not feel alone. I had found a “safe space” where we could share our struggles and be there for each other. Knowing you are not alone as a survivor and to find support in one another is very therapeutic. To date, we have 1000+ members where the majority of us are struggling as we try to navigate our way through recovery after surviving a motor vehicle crash. The conversations and connections that we have made are not only supportive but truly inspirational. I’ve read some of the most courageous stories within our group that relate to me as a survivor and I continue to see amazing observations made by people I admire through social media on a daily basis. Making connections with other survivors who can relate and hearing how thankful they are to be a member of the group has made it all worthwhile. Never did I think our group would have grown to where it is today and I am truly grateful as I no longer feel alone.

Our Gift to Every Crash Survivor

Each year since our online support group first originated, we have celebrated our anniversary by offering a “mini” contest to win a small prize as our way of saying thank you for being a member.  This year, we invite you to join us as we celebrate the launch of our very own “new and improved” website which is our anniversary gift to all survivors!  Whether you choose to browse our Crash Survivor Blog written by a survivor, sign up to receive the Sharing our Recovery Newsletters, join our Online Support Group or read our informative articles, you will want to check out our unique website. The Crash Support Network is based on relationship-building and puts the needs of survivors first by creating a helpful resource.

Our mission is to provide online support, resources and to raise awareness for survivors that have been affected by a motor vehicle crash. Survivors never forget the day their lives changed forever and the struggles they continue to face during their recovery after their motor vehicle crash. Survivors need this connection. Navigating your road to recovery after surviving a crash can be extremely difficult and no one should feel alone after surviving a life-changing event.

Of course none of this would be possible without our sponsors, members, followers, subscribers, our fantastic web designer and support from family.  Thank you!

We welcome you to join us and to have a look around our website as we offer helpful resources and highly informative articles to guide you through your recovery journey at Crash Support Network.
