Crash Survivors are grateful to enter our give-aways in our online support group. Afterall, who doesn’t love a contest? Many supportive and inspirational conversations take place in the Crash Support Network Group on a daily basis. What started out as a place to find solace has turned into quite a forum with 1200+ members and counting. Survivors of motor vehicle crashes are some of the strongest, most amazing and brave individuals. Numerous motor vehicle crashes have devastating consequences and it can be a life-changer. Some of us are left to face long roads to recovery and many survivors spend the rest of their lives trying to regain what they lost because of their injuries from their crash. Many are struggling financially, physically and emotionally as they try to navigate their way through recovery after surviving a crash so why not try to add some sunshine to their day?
On the second anniversary of the creation of our online support group, I decided it was time to shed some light on my fellow survivors by offering our very first contest. We celebrated our second anniversary by encouraging members to enter a contest to win two (2) crash support coffee mugs and the response was overwhelming. From that point on, I knew it was time to host a yearly give-away as crash survivors were so grateful!
Overwhelming Response With Our Contests
Last year, we hosted two exciting contests. Talented young country singer-songwriter and award-winning recording artist, Lisa Mary understands first hand how difficult recovery is after surviving a motor vehicle crash. Lisa is also a member of the Crash Support Network Group and released her new song “Dive” in 2019 with hopes of encouraging other crash survivors. Her song speaks to every crash survivor and Lisa offered three (3) lucky members the chance to win a signed copy of her debut album “Everyone Has A Story To Tell” as well as a downloaded card to listen to her single “Dive”. Lisa not only created a video outlining her give-away to our group but she also announced the winners personally and we were thrilled! When I reached my 7th Anniversary last year otherwise known as our “crashiversary”, I asked survivors to enter for a chance to win one of seven (7) Digital Crash Memories. A Digital Crash Memory is a survivor memory profile button that is custom-designed with a Crash Survivor’s “crashiversary” date and once created, they are able to share it on social media, use it as their profile icon or print it on anything they like. We received an overwhelming response and each winner was thrilled to have their very own Digital Crash Memory.
It’s All About Making Their Day a Bit Brighter
This year we managed to start the year off right with our first contest of the decade! Warm Buddy graciously offered one member a chance to win an aromatherapy sleep mask and a warming blanket. Both products are made from the softest cozy fabrics and elegant silks. My Warm Buddy was a great holiday gift as they make very effective heat therapy products that last many years, providing serious moist heat therapy and comfort that help people with pain, stress and help with a restful sleep. A Crash Survivor’s Dream! Members were asked to email Warm Buddy to tell them why they would like to win and the responses were overwhelming and quite powerful.
